Tomato sauce
Ingredients
- 28 oz can whole peeled tomatoes
- 5 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, peeled and cut in half
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp ginger, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine everything in a saucepan over medium heat
- Bring to gentle simmer for 45 minutes. Stir occasionally and mash any large pieces of tomatoes
